The Witch Wound
The Witch Wound is the ache carried by women who, in this life or others, have been silenced, shamed, or punished for their magic, their voice, and their truth. It is the deep remembrance of lifetimes where the wise woman, the healer, the midwife, and the mystic were feared for their power.
This healing is a sacred reclamation a space to release the fear of being seen, to soften the armour, and to rise once more as the embodied, radiant witch you were born to be. Through energy work, ritual, and remembrance, we tend to the ancient wounds within your lineage and your soul so your magic may finally flow freely again.
The Origins of the Witch Wound
The Origins of the Witch Wound
The Witch Wound was born from centuries of fear and suppression of the feminine. Between the 14th and 18th centuries, tens of thousands of women (and men) across Europe and beyond were persecuted, tortured, and executed during the witch trials. Their “crime” was often simply being connected to the Earth, to healing, to intuition or living freely beyond patriarchal control.
Midwives, herbalists, wise women, and those who honoured the cycles of nature became targets. Communities were taught to fear their power, and generations learned to hide their gifts, silence their voices, and distrust their intuition.
Though the witch hunts ended long ago, their energetic imprint remains echoing through our ancestral lines and collective memory. It shows up as the fear of being seen, the hesitation to share your gifts, or the quiet voice that asks, “Is it safe to be me?”
Healing this wound is an act of remembrance and rebellion , a reclaiming of your voice, your magic, and your power.
Between 40,000 and 60,000 people were executed for witchcraft in Europe , though some historians estimate over 100,000.
The majority were women , midwives, herbalists, healers, and spiritual leaders.
The largest persecutions took place in Germany, Scotland, and England, though witch hunts spread through nearly all of Europe and colonial America.
Many of those accused were simply wise women , keepers of plant medicine, birth knowledge, and ancient earth-based spirituality.
The witch hunts were not only religious persecution they were part of a broader effort to suppress feminine wisdom and independence.
The Witch Wound is not a myth , it’s an ancestral memory.
When we heal it, we heal generations of silence, shame, and fear.”
